Firefox 4 ទើបតែចេញបានប្រហែលបីខែ ឥឡូវ Mozilla បានចេញ Firefox 5 ដែលគ្រោង​ចេញជាផ្លូវការនៅថ្ងៃទី ២១ មិថុនានេះ ។
Firefox 5 មានរូបរាងស្រដៀងនឹង Firefox 4 ដែរ ប៉ុន្តែវាមានលក្ខណៈពិសេសៗជាច្រើន​ដូចជា៖
